Privacy Policy

The short version. BeTall is for ages 13–19. We never ask your name, email or phone number. We collect the body measurements and habits you log so we can estimate your adult height and track your progress. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and you can export or permanently delete everything from the app at any time.

Who we are

BeTall (Android package app.betall.mobile) is operated by Remon Ansary. For any privacy question or request, email support@tryonloop.com.

Age requirement

BeTall is for people aged 13 and over. We ask for your date of birth during setup and block anyone under 13 — both in the app and again on our servers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used BeTall, email us and we will delete the account.

What we collect

There is no sign-up form. When you first open the app we create an anonymous ID on your device. We never learn who you are.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, home address, contacts, location, or advertising ID. We do not show ads and we do not sell your data — to anyone, ever.

Meal photos are deleted

When you scan a meal, the photo is uploaded, sent once to an AI service to estimate its nutrition, and then deleted from our storage — even if the estimate fails. We keep only the numbers (calories, protein, calcium, vitamin D) and a short description. We never keep the image.

AI features

Two features use OpenAI: meal scanning, and Andy, the in-app coach. When you message the coach we send your message along with a summary of your recent logs and your estimate, so the answer can be about you rather than generic. Messages are also run through an automated safety check so that if you sound distressed, the coach responds with support instead of height advice.

We use OpenAI’s API, whose data is not used to train OpenAI’s models. We never send your date of birth as a date, and we never send anything that identifies you as a person — because we don’t have it.

Only the services needed to run the app. Each one processes data on our behalf:

We do not share your data with anyone else, including advertisers and data brokers.

Where data is stored

Your account data is stored in Supabase’s Tokyo, Japan region. Requests pass through our own API server. OpenAI processes AI requests in the United States. If you live elsewhere, your data is transferred to these countries to provide the service.

How long we keep it

Until you delete it. Your logs and past estimates are kept so your history and trends keep working. When you delete your account, everything linked to it is removed from our database immediately. The only thing left is the anonymous sign-in ID itself in Supabase’s records — a random string with no data attached to it.

Your rights and how to use them

All of these work from the app — open Settings with the gear icon on Home.

Get a copy of your data: Settings → Your data → Export my data. You get everything we hold about you, as a file.
Delete everything: Settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your estimate, logs, streaks, badges and coach history. It cannot be undone. See Delete your account for what happens to a subscription.
Correct your data: edit any answer from your Profile. Your estimate updates with your next height measurement.
Stop notifications: Settings → Notifications, per category.
Anything else: email support@tryonloop.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local law (for example the GDPR or CCPA); we will honour them.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Puberty-stage answers are additionally encrypted in the database (AES-256-GCM). Access to production systems is restricted to the operator.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact any third party when you visit.

BeTall gives an estimate, not a medical assessment. It is not a diagnosis and not a promise of any height. If you’re worried about your growth, talk to a doctor.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app before the change affects you.
